Reporting

Why are there grant reporting requirements?

One of the roles of the Nova Scotia Gaming Foundation is to fund to projects to Community Health Boards through the District Health Authorities. Boards receiving such funds must provide a grant report back to the District Health Boards, which will then report on the use of their allocation of funds received from the Nova Scotia Gaming Foundation.  The Foundation must provide a detailed yearly report to the Minister, Health Promotion and Protection, disclosing the funds allocated.   The reports provided to the Foundation about the use of funds provided to various health and community organizations provide the basis for the annual report prepared by the Nova Scotia Gaming Foundation. Therefore, prompt and complete grant reports are required from all grant recipients.
