He holds a Masters in Social Work and is retired from a distinguished, 40-year career as a public servant for both the Province of Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Regional Municipality. Jim has extensive volunteer experience and has served and chaired numerous boards throughout his lifetime. He joined the GANS Board in August 2005.
Married with four children, Jim is “Grampie” to four grandchildren.
He lives in Ben Eoin, Nova Scotia.
