In Nova Scotia, help for a problem with gambling is available
- free of charge and close to home;
- to anyone affected by gambling harm—not just to the person who gambles;
- confidentially and, in some cases, anonymously;
- individually, in groups, and through couple and family counselling;
- by telephone; and
- in some cases, through residential treatment programs.
